Relax and enjoy quiet, secluded Lake George. Enjoy a pleasant vacation in one of our exceptional two or three bedroom vacation rentals situated on the northwest shore of Lake George, two miles east of Rhinelander. We provide clean and modern vacation rentals with large picture windows overlooking the lake. It is truly a breathtaking sight.
Furnished for comfort and convenience,
on beautiful grounds with a park-like Northwoods setting,
our units are equipped with all modern furnishings for your comfort and convenience with the exception of telephones.
Each unit consists of a living room, kitchen-dining area,
two or three bedrooms with double or twin beds
and a bathroom with tub and/or shower.
Cribs and high chairs are available at no charge.
All bed linens are furnished except for towels and crib sheets.

Our fine sand beach is pleasant and relaxing for sun bathing.
Swimmers will find Lake George excellent. Our beach has no drop-offs and a safely anchored raft. Safe for the beginner, fine for the expert. Top quality 14 ft. Alumacraft boats, piers, etc. Outboard motors are available. No personal water crafts, please. |

The
beach and playground areas are illuminated at night - they include a park size swing set, shuffleboard, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, tether-ball, etc. In a separate building overlooking the Resort, is our recreation room and lounge serving mixed drinks, beer and pop. Rhinelander has become the scenic winter vacation land of the North. Get away from it all by snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross country and downhill skiing in the unspoiled beauty of winter. Prime hunting for partridge, grouse, bear and deer amid a galaxy of color in the fall season. If you happen to be a fisherman - you have 446 acres of wonderful spring-fed waters loaded with structure to try your luck in. There you will find the Fighting Musky, Northern, Walleye, Bass and a variety of Panfish. Lake George is one of Wisconsin's finest lakes with more than 5 miles of scenic shoreline. |

Kafka's vacationers are near golf courses, horse stables, tennis courts, bowling alleys, movie theaters and many in-season Summer, Fall and Winter local activity and entertainment. Churches are also close by. Do your thing in the greatest area in the Northwoods. Shopping in
nearby Rhinelander and the Lake George area is a pleasure ... its exciting
with its many stores and quaint little shops ... great family restaurants
and cozy eateries ... marine motor service. Sportsman supplies and family
needs are readily available. Kafka's has an uncrowded atmosphere where you can really relax without worry. |

DIRECTIONS: From Chicago and Milwaukee follow U.S. 41 and 45 North to Monico. Then take U.S. 8 and 47 West 10 miles to our sign. Turn right and follow our other signs. Or . . . Interstate 90 to Interstate US 39 North, then North 17 to Rhinelander, follow Bus. U.S. 8 East approximately 2 miles. Turn left on West Lake George Road |
